Cost matters
Machine made goods have a distinct advantage over hand made products. They are far better in accuracy and superior in quality. But the biggest constraint while employing machines is the cost which is very high. So the production with machines is only economical when the number of units to be produced is large else for smaller number of units one should go for hand made goods just like in the case of bespoke mattresses. They are ordered by the customer according to the size and the material required. This is why they are the handmade mattresses since it is economical to make them by using labour. The bespoke mattress turns out to be luxury mattresses for the buyer since he is getting everything as per his demands although compared to other mattresses it might be costlier as they are made to order. But for the manufactures making them using hands is cheaper then using machine for their production.
Catering Treats
What food goes best with chocolate fountains? This is a question that’s hard to answer. I often get asked what the best food to bring and apart from the obvious selections it all depends on the event. Profiteroles and strawberries are an absolute must, they always are strawberries go with chocolate. But what other selections can your offer your potential clients.
Anything in reason is allowed but you have the problem that something can’t be dipped directly into the fountain. Anything the crumbles like cake can fall into the fountain and affect the way it works, but this does not mean it cannot be used. Simply pure on the chocolate for each guest with a spoon or other implement and it can still be enjoyed.
Fruit can be very hit and miss, as I said before strawberries are always in the menu but other fruit like pineapple, grapes and cherries. In past experience the fruit is always the last dips that are left so to try and get people to eat more of the fruit maybe try making fruit kebabs which allows the guests to simply pick up the skewers and dip them under the chocolate for themselves.
